Sept. 23-24

I spent some time both days today taking the most important and applicable information from the sources I found concerning the Muslim events. It's a rough draft, but I do have information to put onto slides as we began to organize our group PowerPoint tomorrow (Sat. the 25th).

Today, I researched on the news events of the Koran burning threat from Terry Jones and others, and the opinions and news surrounding the mosque by Ground Zero. I feel like I got some good articles and print-outs for our group meeting tomorrow as well.

Caitlin and I went over the changes that were made to one of my powerpoint slides.  We watched a video that Tara put together.

We met at 3 in the library and finalized our project.
everyone gave their final say on the project and we agreed to meet in room 141 at 2:30 tuesday oct. 5 to present.

almost there!

Googled Images of muslims, using only keywords like muslim, media, and islam. It was interesting that even the majority of images brought up were portraying muslims in a negative light. I put together a powerpoint of these images to be played at the same time as the comments made by the Utah State Students. Super new to putting together projects like this but... I think its really coming together:) HOpe you guys like it ill show it at the next meeting.
